Historical Curiosities

Julius Caesar (100 BC – 44 BC) was one of the most famous generals and statesmen of ancient Rome. Among many things, he is remembered for his legendary speed in battle: the phrase "Veni, Vidi, Vici" ("I came, I saw, I won") was coined precisely to celebrate his quick victory in battle of Zela (47 BC).

In addition to being a great leader, Caesar introduced the Julian calendar, predecessor of the Gregorian calendar we use today.

Maintenance

To keep your bronze bust always shining, it is advisable to clean it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
