Historical curiosities

Accidentally discovered on the island of Milo in 1820, the Venus de Milo has become one of the most famous icons of female beauty in ancient art.

Its incomplete state, missing arms, has long intrigued historians, archaeologists, and artists, who have wondered about its original appearance.

The sculpture has inspired painters, poets, and sculptors over the centuries, becoming one of the most recognizable symbols of classical art.

Maintenance

To maintain the shine and quality of Carrara marble, it is advised to clean the sculpture with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners.

It is also recommended to place it away from direct sunlight and excessively humid environments to preserve its brilliance over time.
