Historical curiosities

Discovered on the island of Milo in 1820, the Venus de Milo was sculpted by Alexandros of Antioch in the 2nd century BC and depicts Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty.

Despite the absence of arms, the statue exudes an ethereal and mysterious beauty, becoming one of the most recognizable symbols of Greek sculpture.

Today it is displayed at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

Maintenance

To keep the marble statue in perfect condition, it is recommended to gently clean it with a soft, dry cloth.

Avoid harsh detergents that could damage the surface. To preserve the beauty of the marble over time, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
