The tomb of the Diver is an artifact of the funerary art of Magna Greece of significant historical-artistic value, the only evidence of painting Greek figurative and non-vascular. The walls of the building and the roofing slab itself are entirely plastered and decorated with wall painting of a figurative subject, created with the fresco technique. The image of the diver forms the internal decoration of the cover plate of a tomb found nearby Poor . The man in the act of diving into a stream probably symbolizes the transition from life to death.
