This statuette is a three-dimensional reproductionof AmedeoModigliani's painting "Jeanne Hebuterne" of 1918.
The statuette, made and painted by hand, depicts the profile of JeanneHébuterne, the girl with particular beauty, companion, model and muse of the master. Their romantic relationship lasted until the painter's death.
The work portrays the painter at twenty years old and is characterized by a sinuous and elongated neck like all her portraits. Modigliani's style in painting women creates a true ideal of female beauty. The young woman has hair that frames her forehead and thin lips colored red.
