Farnese Hercules reproduction in Carrara marble of the colossal sculpture (3.17 m) dating back to the III century. A.D., the copy of the bronze original by Lysippos, IV cent. A.D., one of the most famous works in the Archaeological Museum of Naples.

The sculpture represents Hercules (in Greek mythology Heracles), the semi-god hero at rest, tired after the last of the twelve labors in the garden of the Hesperides. It symbolizes the triumph of courage and human strength, so important in the drama of our life. Precisely his impossible deeds were the emblem of the ability to save men in different situations.

The shining example of history and mythology for your apartment.
