This figurine is a faithful representation of the Helmet of the Thracian Roman Gladiator.  The original, coming from Pompeii, is kept in the Archaeological Museum of Naples.

The thrace gladiator helmet was one of the most distinctive pieces of equipment used by gladiators in the Roman arena. The Trace (Thrax), gladiator in ancient Rome, he was an athlete who fought without protection armed only with a short sword and defensive head armor. 

This figurine captures the essence of the strength and courage of Roman gladiators, making it a unique and original gift for fans of ancient history and art.

Historical Curiosities 

The Thraex was one of the most feared and admired gladiators in the Roman arenas. His distinctive element was the bronze helmet. It had a protective visor and a high crest decorated with mythological symbols. The gladiator's face was completely covered, leaving only two slits for the eyes. The decorations on the helmet were symbolic and increased the spectacular nature of the fighting.
