V-neck and short sleeve T-Shirt with Flora printed, 100% cotton.
That of Flora (Flora di Sabiae), Greek nymph, is one of the most important paintings of the Empire Romano, buried under the ash and lava of the same eruption of Vesuvius which he buried Pompeii and Herculaneum in 79 AD. In ancient Rome she was contemplated as the protector of flowering and grain and in her rituals one had to participate wearing colored robes to imitate the color of the flowers.
The fresco shows her intent on delicately picking the flowers and scattering them with her basket. This almost seems to float in the air and has now become a allegorical symbol of the excavations.
