In fact, in 1743 the Royal Factory of Capodimonte was founded inside the Royal Palace of Capodimonte, home of King Charles of Bourbon and his wife Anna of Saxony. As time goes by, the artistic production has become more valuable and famous, surpassing that of France and Germany.
