The two-headed snake ring of Pompeii is inspired by the original 1st century ring a.C, kept at the Archaeological Museum of Naples.

Made of bronze, this ring represents the powerful symbolism of the snake, considered an emblem of protection, wisdom, and regeneration. Historical Curiosities

In Roman religion, the Serpent-shaped Genius was the benevolent guardian spirit of the fortunes of families as well as of individual persons.

In ancient Pompeii, the snake was revered as a symbol of rebirth and immortality, associated with the god Asclepius, the god of medicine and healing.

This symbolism made the snake a very popular protective amulet among the Romans.
