The fresco by Diana the Huntress, emerged during the archaeological excavations of Stabiae (Castellammare di Stabia), and the reproduction of the original preserved in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.
Found together with the frescoes of Flora, Medea and Leda, the representation of Diana (or Artemis) represents the Goddess of the hunt, the moon, nature and agriculture, but at the same time it protected women and women in childbirth. She was often represented with a silver bow and arrows.
