These crescent earrings with gem, made of 925 silver and plated with 18K gold, are taken from the original find from the 1st century BC. cat. n ° P 12518 of the Superintendency of Pompeii, preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Naples.
The earrings were found in Pompeii, north side of Porta Marina. The body of the jewel is in smooth gold leaf modeled in a circular shape and with decreasing thickness. The accessory is embellished with tre oval frames engraved with white and green enamelled glass. The hook, however. It is S-shaped.
