この「Cave Canem」床モザイクは、ボッティチーノ大理石で作られ、ポンペイの詩人の家（Casa del Poeta Tragico）で発見されました。フォーラムの浴場の向かいにある帝国様式の邸宅です。
この大理石のレプリカは、有名な警告「Cave Canem」（「犬に注意」）の本質を捉えています。これはローマ時代のドムスの玄関に置かれたモザイクで、不審者を遠ざけるためによく使われました。歴史、古代美術、洗練されたインテリアを愛する方に最適で、このタイルはどんな空間にも上品さと本物らしさを加えます。

The cave canem means a lot for me because we, my family when I was a child, had almost the same next to the front door. My parents bought it during a holiday in Italy.

Das Motiv hat mir gleich gefallen und die Bestellung war genauso, wie vom Verkäufer versprochen. Leider war die Kachel jedoch beschädigt, ein Kachelstűck war beim Transport herausgebrochen und kleinste Mosaikteile waren abgesprungen. Die Verpackung war für den Transport nicht gut geeignet. Die Wellpappe als Schutz allein hat leider nicht geholfen. Ich habe die schőne Kachel geklebt, damit ich sie nicht wegschmeißen musste.

Bought one in person when I visited Pompeii about 25 years ago….unfortunately I was broken…so it is great to be able to replace it
This tile really resonated with our family after one year spent with our rescued pitbull, Othello. He's super friendly and loves people but upon first sight of our dog, a warning to beware certainly is helpful! The tile is beautiful and arrived to our house unmarked, highly recommend!
Yo estoy enamorada de este Cave Canem desde que vi el original hace muchos años en Pompeya en la Casa del Poeta Trágico. Espero volver a ese maravilloso lugar y visitar luego vuestro museo Éste es el segundo mosaico que encargo, ya para una amiga mía que le encantó el mío, el de la foto, la puerta de la calle de mi hogar. Es un mosaico precioso, en color, textura. Tamaño ideal para sitios pequeños. Un pedacito de Pompeya en la puerta de mi casa. ¡¡¡ME ENCANTA!!!
