Venus knowing the existence of Psyche (famous for her beauty), jealous, she sends her son Cupid to make her fall in love with the ugliest, meanest man on Earth and be covered in the shame of this relationship. The god, however, misses his aim and the arrow of love instead hits his own foot and consequently he falls madly in love with the girl.
