Bas-relief of Luck, fragment in terracotta, inspired by the decoration of a lamp Roman art, 1st century A.D., preserved in the Archaeological Museum, Este.

Represents Fortuna, the winged goddess with the horn of abundance from which he gives gifts to men. In the cult of Fortuna (or Tyche) the reasons of destiny and fertility come together and its famous sanctuary was located in Preneste (the current Palestrina) to which the whole population of Lazio flowed to ask for answers on the future. 

Often it is depicted with with ears, crown but above all with cornucopia, which is an emblem of abundance, fertility and the complex of goods necessary for life. The goddess was responsible for the fate of the Romans
