The fresco of Diana the Huntress, emerged during the archaeological excavations of Stabiae (Castellammare di Stabia), and the reproduction of the original preserved in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.

Found together with the frescoes of Flora, Medea and Leda, the representation of Diana (or Artemis) represents the Goddess of the hunt, the moon, nature and agriculture, but at the same time she protected women and women giving birth. She was often represented with a silver bow and arrows.

The bright colors and the delicate pose, see the Goddess of the hunt while drawing the bow, depicted in profile against a blue background.
