Artemis , (for the Romans Diana ,  Apollo's sister), she was the goddess of hunting, the moon, animals and the forest. Artemis was an object of cult very followed by women in ancient times  Greece.  It symbolizes the independent female spirit, emblem of sisterhood and freedom. In the myth , after his birth he helped his mother to give birth to her twin. For this reason she was also revered as the goddess of childbirth.
