At the center of the design, a volcanic stone coming directly from the slopes of Vesuvius stands out, with a hand engraving of the Greek goddess Athens.

Athena (for the Romans Minerva) is the Greek goddess of wisdom, war and the arts. Often depicted wearing a robe and armed, she was celebrated for her medical and prophetic abilities. The image on the pendant of this bracelet sees the Goddess represented with a helmet.
