Historical Curiosities
The Tomb of the Diver is a funerary art artifact of Magna Greece of significant historical-artistic value, the only testimony of painting Greek figurative and not vascular. The walls of the artifact and the cover slab itself are entirely plastered and decorated with figurative wall painting, created using the fresco technique. The man is depicted diving into a body of water, this scene probably symbolizes the passage from life to death.
