Dieser Marmorkopf der Muse Thalia wurde anhand eines Abgusses des Originals aus der römischen Epoche gefertigt, das heute in den Vatikanischen Museen in Rom ausgestellt ist.

Historische Fakten
In der griechischen Mythologie war Thalia eine der neun Musen und wurde besonders für ihren Einfluss auf die Komödie und die bukolische Dichtung verehrt.
